James Dixon & Sons Sheffield. Electroplated Britannia metal which is a form of Pewter alloy more commonly manufactured in the 19th Century. Cobalt blue glass insert. The trumpet and banner symbol was registered by the company in 1879. A lovely piece of 19th century tableware.
