Where life saving water was more expensive than gold, from Ballarat to the desolate gold fields of Kalgoorlie, this mining lamp is an amazing piece of history. Clipped on to the miners belt and embossed with a brass date stamp of 1886 this lamp was the fine line between seeing and dying.
