Vintage Elischer Melbourne Shell Vase 1950's
Beautiful original condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures 23cm high, 18cm wide, 10cm deep.
Elischer is a label for the Melbourne based pottery company National Ceramics Products (NCP) pottery. It was operated by John Wally Elischer from 1947 to 1987.
NCP began making slip-cast vases marked with an impressed 'NCP' and plates with a black underglaze 'National Ceramic Products' stamp. By 1950, the range also included jugs, vases, mugs, wine bottles and beer steins marked with an embossed 'Elischer',
