Sterling Silver Marcasite in classic Art Nouveau style and made in Germany.
These gorgeous earrings from the Art Nouveau period are the most beautiful jewellery set I have seen in a while. They are encrusted in tiny marcasite stones which gives them a beautiful sparkle. Many of the older marcasite pieces were made with tiny marcasite stones giving them a more diamond like sparkle than some of the newer marcasite pieces. The earrings have a screw closure. They look fabulous on and are very comfortable to wear.
They were made in Germany, c. 1900.
